Trump has won several states, including South Carolina, Indiana, Kentucky, and West Virginia, while Harris took Vermont. With major battleground states like Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Georgia undecided, the election outcome remains uncertain. Millions of Americans have voted to decide between Trump and Harris in what’s seen as a critical race for the White House. Despite a tight race, some forecasters suggested that Harris might have an edge in battleground states like Pennsylvania.

Harris’s campaign noted that final results may take days, as states tally votes at different times. Both campaigns are focusing on key states, each deploying teams to oversee the vote count and prepare for potential legal disputes.

On Wednesday, Fox News projected Trump as the winner, and he celebrated with supporters in Florida, calling the election result a “historic mandate.” However, other networks have not yet called the race.

Republicans have also regained control of the U.S. Senate for the first time in four years. Kamala Harris aims to become the first woman and first person of Indian descent to become President. Meanwhile, Trump is aiming for a historic comeback to the White House after his loss in 2020. If he succeeds, he would be the first president in over a century to serve two non-consecutive terms.
